Here are 5 tips to help you keep your mindset tuned to positivity:
1.) Prayer – If you are a believer, this is the first and best place to go! Make time each morning to BE STILL before the Lord. Often, we are quick to give God our list of needs, desires and wants and be on our way. Try this for the next 5 days: Spend time praising Him and follow that with being still and listening to Him! Let me know how it works!
2.) Gratitude Journal – Every night before you go to bed sit quietly and jot down 10 things you are grateful for. Big or small, they all count.
3.) Psalms – The book of psalms is one of my favorite books in the Bible. It’s packed full of verses to give you peace, guidance and comfort. Search the psalms and find one verse to cling to for the season you are going through. Write it on a note card and place it on the bathroom mirror, in your purse, on your car dash, in front of your computer monitor or all 4 spots!
4.) Stop and smell the roses – If you are going 24/7 you will burn yourself out. Same as if you were doing for someone else all the time. Take "me" time each day even if it’s for 10 minutes. This alone time will rejuvenate you so you can stay in a high energy vibration.
5.) Rest – Getting rest is extremely important to your mindset. Try to get at least 7 hours a night if you can. Waking up fully rested is key to waking up with a positive mindset and being able to keep that mindset in place despite what is happening around you.
Put these tips in place and you will start to see the difference in your life and probably in the lives of those around you also.
