In my last post I told you some tips on how to navigate family for Thanksgiving.  One of the things I mentioned was being in gratitude.

Here’s a short list to get you started on things you can be grateful for:

  • Home
  • Spouse
  • Children
  • Work
  • Friends
  • Family
  • Pets
  • Health
  • Football
  • Sales
  • Walks
  • Vehicle
  • Volunteering
  • Time off

’m sure there is something in that list that you can start with.  And yes, I put Football as that is a favorite fall pastime for many. And, sales for those shopaholics who pour over the Thanksgiving Day paper!

You don’t have to list all of the above as that is just a starter list of ideas.  We all have so much to be grateful for and that attitude of gratitude will carry you through even the darkest night or the longest Thanksgiving dinner!

Gratitude is free.  It is free to have and to give so while you are listing what you are grateful for in your head also make sure to tell others.  Sharing why you are grateful for someone not only makes you happy but them as well.

It’s always nice to spread love and gratitude and cheer around to everyone around you through the holidays.

And on that note, I’m grateful for you!
